100% crop from the lightning post. Not too noisy…its Nikon afterall (if I only had the d700!). Shot at 200 ISO

Sure if you can sharpen a bit with your camera do it. Not against that at all. But if your image still isn’t sharp enough, photoshop can help do amazing things. I’ll do a post to hopefully show how subtle sharpening can make huge impact especially on things like eyes and hair.
Not bad at all man. I would have probably sharpened it a dash but you’re right, the noise is very minimal. (at 200 ISO you shouldn’t get much anyway)
