I was traveling in the US, so I had not been out to the vineyard for a few weeks…it was worth the wait…
This dog is hilarious…sunrise, dog shake and slow shutter speed…
Landed in LA, grabbed some fajitas with Pruter. We drove to Joshua Tree (3 1/2 hours). Arrived to the Harmony Hotel (U2 stayed there!) — still a dump. Crashed about 1am and woke up at 3:30 am to drive to the park and take these…Exhausted but fun. D300 on my new midget Gitzo tripod…which is [...]
And about an hour later…
So dave has 10+ years in photoshop…me, I use it for stitching panos and nothing else. I use aperture and new tools like viveza. Super simple and great results…I think…Both of these were taken along the beach in Nicaragua with my D300 and my 18-200 lens…

Woke up at 5:30 on Saturday morning (after too many Fernets the night before)…but the sky was crystal clear so I got out of bed to take these shots…both taken with the D300 and 50mm 1.4 lens (love that lens — super fast and tack sharp)
This has very little (nothing) to do with photography, but I am very happy about this nice press piece about our development…so I thought I would share…
